There is no problem with the movement of civilians and those needing medical assistance on the Shusha-Khankandi road, Ilgar Orujov, Ph.D., chairman of the Azerbaijan Young Scientist, Doctorate and Master's Society, participant of the protest action, said told Report.

He said that the illegal exploitation of natural resources in the territories of Azerbaijan under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers should be stopped:

"Armenia, which held Azerbaijani lands under occupation for nearly 30 years, has carried out many acts of terrorism on Azerbaijan's territory. One of them is environmental terrorism. The purpose of the peaceful protests is to put an end to ecological terrorism and end the illegal exploitation of natural resources in our territories under the control of Russian peacekeepers. It should be ensured that a monitoring group is sent by the state institutions of Azerbaijan to those areas. Our protests will continue until our demands are met."

Orujov noted that there is no problem with the movement of civilians, patients and those in need of medical assistance on the Shusha-Khankandi road:

"In this case, the action shows the humanist values of the Azerbaijani people."
