Russian, Armenian foreign ministers mull implementation of trilateral deals

Russian and Armenian Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Ararat Mirzoyan respectively discussed on the phone the implementation of trilateral agreements, the Russian Bureau of Report informs, citing the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"In the regional context, the two men underscored the importance of the strict implementation of the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, dated November 10, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, including the early launch of the process of delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the start of project activities to unblock transport and economic relations in the region. The issue of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan was touched upon, to which Russia is ready to assist in every possible way," the statement reads.

The diplomats also discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda and noted the high-level interaction between Moscow and Yerevan within the framework of the Eurasian integration structures - the CSTO, the EAEU, the CIS.
