Peskov: Kremlin expects restraint from parties and will continue contacts with Baku, Yerevan

Russia performs the function of a mediator in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs.

Peskov added that Russia expects restraint from the parties and will continue contacts with Baku and Yerevan.

On May 11, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan reported that Orkhan Novruzalizada, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani army, was martyred as a result of a provocation deliberately committed by units of the armed forces of Armenia.
