Head of Catholic community on Aghdam: I was horrified by what I saw

“I thank the respected Sheikhulislam for organizing the meeting and trip of religious leaders to these territories. I’m sure that all Azerbaijanis would like to come here,” head of the Catholic Community in Azerbaijan Vladimir Fekete told reporters in the liberated city of Aghdam, Report informs.

“The main purpose of this visit was to consecrate these places with prayer, we came here to pray for the victims, for those young people who died liberating these lands, and for everyone who suffered... We see what major work still lies ahead here to restore this territory. We consider it our duty to pray that the Lord will help our leadership, the distinguished President of the Republic,” said Fekete.

He also added that he was 'horrified when seeing what was happening there' and what ruins the once flourishing Aghdam city had turned into.
