Four schools for 2,764 pupils are under construction in Karabakh, Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President in the liberated territories (except Shusha) included in the Karabakh economic region, said at a panel meeting within the IX Global Baku Forum in Shusha.
He noted that immediately after the war, demining began, which was the biggest challenge for the reconstruction of the area:
"Thus, after the signing of the tripartite agreement in November 2020, 224 people were killed by landmines."
According to him, for over 30 years, the territories of Azerbaijan have been subjected to a complete cleansing: cities and monuments have been destroyed, and the ecosystem has been damaged.
