Defense Ministry: The enemy suffered heavy losses

The enemy increasingly aggravates the situation on the line of contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops and the state border with Armenia, Report says, citing Defense Ministry.

Recently, there has been an increase in the ceasefire's gross violations by the units of the armed forces of Armenia. Regular shellings were observed to our public settlements, civilians, and infrastructure near the line of contact and larger-caliber weapons, reconnaissance-sabotage activities against our units' positions. Besides, the widespread use of uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAV) has led to a severe aggravation of the front line's situation.

In all cases, the enemy's provocations were suppressed using the branches of troops of the Azerbaijan Army, and he suffered heavy losses. So, due to our Air Defense units' actions, another tactical uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) of the enemy was destroyed last night.

On September 21, at 09:20, due to another provocation of the enemy in the Tovuz direction on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border, a serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, Junior Sergeant Mammadov Elshan Ali, was killed.
