We will restore all our historic monuments and mosques. After 28 years, the azan will sound again in Shusha. A few years ago, at the opening of a mosque built on my instructions in the liberated village of Jojug Märjanli, I said that this mosque is similar to the Shusha mosque in size and architectural style. I said that the day would come when we would restore the mosques destroyed by Armenian vandals in Shusha, and this day is coming. Today, the flag of Azerbaijan is waving in Shusha. Today, the entire Azerbaijani people are proud to welcome this news, " the head of state stated.
