Volume of liquid cargo transported by ASCO tankers up by nearly 8%

The volume of cargo transported by vessels owned by the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) during the first quarter of 2025 has been announced, Report informs, citing the company
From January to March of this year, a total of 1,034,039 tons of liquid cargo was transported by tankers owned by ASCO, 73,243 tons or 7.6% more.
During the same period, 7,905 railway wagons and 9,050 motor vehicles were transported by ferry vessels. This is 942 units (10.6%) and 100 units (1.1%) less than in January-March 2024, respectively.
Furthermore, 441,322 tons of cargo were transported by universal dry cargo vessels during the mentioned period, 286,334 tons (2.8 times) more than the first quarter of last year.
