Sapar Bektasov: Necessary to develop long-term strategy for development of Middle Corridor

The potential of the Middle Corridor is to expand freight to Europe through the Caucasus region, director of the transport policy department of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, Sapar Bektasov, said at a regional event on the Middle Corridor in Georgia.
Report informs that, according to Bektasov, to achieve the set goals, it is necessary to develop a long-term strategy for the development of the Middle Corridor until 2040 and beyond.
Bektasov called on the World Bank to consider developing a long-term strategy that takes into account likely economic and environmental changes in the future.
