Rossbach: Housing becoming key part of national development strategy

In many countries, housing is becoming a key part of national development strategies, UN-Habitat Executive Director Anaclaudia Rossbach said at a roundtable discussion at WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
She noted that governments are beginning to view the housing sector not as a social issue, but as an area for investment.
"Projects implemented without urban planning will not yield long-term results," Rossbach emphasized.
