Belarus Prime Minister visits construction site of agricultural holding in Azerbaijan's Aghdam

Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin has visited the village of Gizil Kangarli in Azerbaijan's Aghdam district, where the construction of a large agricultural holding is planned, Report informs.
The project will be implemented by the Belarusian government and will give impetus to the development of livestock, poultry, and vegetable growing in the region.
The commissioning of the enterprise is scheduled for 2027. As part of the project, a settlement for 420 families will also be built in the Aghdam district.
The initiative to build an agro-town in the Karabakh economic region was proposed by the Belarusian side during the state visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan in 2024.
