Murovdag tunnel in Azerbaijan 65% ready

The construction of the Toganali-Kalbajar-Istisu highway connecting the Goygol and Kalbajar districts, and the Murovdag tunnel, which will become one of the longest road tunnels in the world, will be completed in 2025-2026, Akif Aygen, deputy chairman of the board of the Turkish company Proyapi, which carries out construction work in the liberated territories, told Report.
He noted that the work on the construction of the tunnel is 65% completed.
The design length of the Toganali-Kalbajar-Istisu highway is 80.7 km.
