MP: Number of returnees to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories to reach 140,000

As part of the First State Program on the Great Return to Azerbaijan's liberated territories, the number of returnees to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur is expected to reach 40,000 in 2025 and 140,000 in 2026, said Vugar Bayramov, a member of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), at today’s plenary meeting, Report informs.

"The rapid restoration and reconstruction of these territories reflect Azerbaijan's strength and the economic policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev," Bayramov noted.
