Minister: Success of Middle Corridor to lead to changes in transport and logistics sector

The success of the Middle Corridor project will lead to changes in the transport and logistics sectors in the future, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said at an international conference organized in Zangilan on the topic “International transport and logistics corridor: development impulses from Zangilan,” Report informs.

“European partners attach great importance to the Middle Corridor. We thought that traffic along the traditional East-West and West-East corridors would be sufficient, but over the past two years the importance of the Middle Corridor in terms of geopolitical issues has increased,” he noted.

The minister reminded that the roadmap of the corridor was developed jointly with the countries participating in the project.

“This document defines the responsibilities of all parties. Together we began to implement this map, synchronized a number of tasks. In parallel, we carried out a number of operations and actions,” he added.
