Minister: Companies from SPECA countries interested in Azerbaijan's Alat Free Zone

Companies from countries participating in the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) are showing interest in the Alat Free Economic Zone of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at the 18th session of the SPECA Governing Council in Baku, Report informs.

The minister also noted that the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Joint Investment Company and the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund were created:

"We implement many projects in the automotive industry, shipbuilding, and agriculture. Particularly, agricultural projects are being implemented in cotton growing, sericulture, horticulture and livestock farming."
