Eugene Seah: Baku port expanding infrastructure capabilities

Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC is expanding its infrastructure capabilities, thereby trying to meet the growing needs of the maritime and logistics industry, chief operating officer of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, Eugene Seah, said at an event organized in the Baku port within the 42nd meeting of the BSEC General Assembly in Baku, Report informs.
“The strategic location of the port makes it a central hub for the smooth supply of goods along the Eurasian route,” he noted.
The new Baku port, which was opened on May 14, 2018 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, has a throughput capacity of 15 million tons.
