The installation of a central heating system in Karabakh is strongly supported and steps are being taken in this regard, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov said at a public hearing on the draft law “On Heat Supply” at the meeting of the Committee for Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, according to Report.
"Karabakh became a turning point for us regarding thermal energy. As you know, that area has been declared a green energy zone, and we have set a target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Why is the central system important? Because it is cheaper and safer," he noted.
