Economic zones of Azerbaijan, Poland sign agreement of intent on cooperation

An agreement of intent has been signed between the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) of Azerbaijan and the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone of Poland at the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the two countries, Report informs.

The document was signed by Valeh Alasgarov, the Chairman of the Board of the AFEZ, and the Executive Director of the Wałbrzych SEZ, Mariusz Tomczak.

A memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed between the Alat Free Economic Zone (FEZ) of Azerbaijan and the economic zone of Poland, co-chair of the Commission, Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov, said at the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland held in Baku, Report informs.

Minister Heydarov said that Azerbaijan and Poland have great potential for increasing trade turnover.
