Cargo turnover of Port of Baku announced 

In 2022, the cargo turnover of Baku International Sea Trade Port increased by 13.6% to 6,314,000 tons, Khudayar Hasanli, Head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department at Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, told Report.

According to him, last year, 53% of the cargo transshipped at the Port of Baku was transported from Turkmen ports, and the total volume was 3,359,000 tons. Cargo turnover with other ports amounted to 571,000 tons.

Hasanli said that 90% of the cargo transshipped at the Port of Baku is transit cargo.
