Bosporus temporarily closed to navigation due to heavy fog

The Bosporus is temporarily closed due to heavy fog that has enveloped Istanbul, the Turkish Coast Guard General Directorate said in a statement, Report informs, citing Turkish media.
"From 01:20 local time, the movement of ships in both directions has been temporarily suspended," the message says.
The movement of sea ferries sailing between the European and Asian parts of Istanbul has also been suspended.
According to weather forecasters, visibility in several areas of the Turkish metropolis on Wednesday morning did not exceed 5 meters.
