Azerbaijan, World Bank developing strategy

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan is currently working with the World Bank on the development of a data management strategy, Deputy Minister Farid Ahmadov said at the InMerge Innovation Summit in Baku, Report informs.

He said that one of the main aspects of digital infrastructure is the infrastructure that will allow data exchange: “Governments have data to use for their own purposes. This includes both the development of new products and the improvement of existing products. The participation of private businesses is also important here. However, private enterprises have their own unique characteristics, and we are working with the World Bank on the development of a strategy that will reflect this and all other aspects.”
