Serious work has been done to eliminate the shortcomings of the Middle Corridor related to the transportation of increased cargo, said Fariz Aliyev, the Head of Transport Policy Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Report informs.
He made the remark in the panel discussion themed “Middle Corridor: perspectives and challenges" held within the framework of the Translogistica Caspian exhibition in Baku.
He noted that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) report on the Middle Corridor shows the shortcomings:
"We have done work to eliminate them and important results have been achieved. It is no coincidence that the block trains departing from China today are delivered to their address in 10-12 days as a result of the work done. We are currently working on further increasing the potential and digitalization."
