Azerbaijan starts to produce "Crown" cars

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ The first cars to be produced at Neftchala Automotive Plant will be named the "Crown".
Chairman of the Management Board of "Azərmaş" OJSC Emin Akhundov told Report.
According to him, the cars will be produced in two sets: "The cars will be export-oriented, that’s why they have a foreign name. First two sets of cars will be manufactured - S5 (simple) and L5 (luxury). Both cars will have a manual transmission box".
“The plant will be launched at the end of March, and the first cars will be released in a month after the opening ceremony: "The cars will be assembled using Peugeout platform. The cars will cost from 14,000 to 16,000 AZN. The engine volume will be 1.7 liter", Azərmaş" official added.
