Azerbaijan sees growth in cargo and passenger transportation by rail

In January-March 2024, 4.5 million tons of cargo and 1,881,300 passengers were transported by rail in Azerbaijan, respectively, up 0.3% and 24.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, on average, 355 wagons were loaded and 416 wagons were unloaded per day.
