Azerbaijan Railways preparing to implement artificial intelligence

Steps will be taken to introduce artificial intelligence at some railway stations in Azerbaijan, Asif Huseynov, a senior consultant at the Digital Development Department of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC, said at the "Digitalization of Railway Transport" panel discussion organized as part of the 22nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition held in Baku.

"We are currently working on such a project. It is about the management of cargo transportation in connection with central management systems. In addition, we have digital projects covering all issues related to commercial work, tariff calculators, all processes related to transportation, and up to repairs. After the introduction of microprocessor systems, steps are expected to be taken regarding the application of artificial intelligence," Huseynov said.
