Azerbaijan Railways boosts passenger transportation by nearly 15%

In January 2025, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) transported 713,699 passengers, marking a 14.6% increase year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the ADY.

Over the past year, the number of foreign tourists who traveled by train rose by 40.3% to 2,123.

Last month, 5,355 passengers traveled on the restored Baku-Balakan-Baku route.
