Azerbaijan prepares to launch multifunctional hospitality project in Tbilisi

PASHA Holding is preparing to launch a new investment project in the hospitality and multifunctional commercial real estate sector in central Tbilisi, Georgia's Investment Agency CEO Mikheil Khidureli said at the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026), Report informs.

According to him, the new project will be another example of expanding investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"If we look at the history of Azerbaijani investments in Georgia since the 1990s, the total volume of foreign direct investment amounts to $3.2 billion. This shows how actively our countries trade with each other and how much Azerbaijan invests in Georgia. In particular, Azerbaijan's largest companies - SOCAR and PASHA Holding - are represented here. We will announce a new project very soon. Together with PASHA Holding, a new project in the hospitality and multifunctional commercial real estate sector is being launched in central Tbilisi. All of this demonstrates the existing dynamics," Khidureli emphasized.

He noted that Azerbaijani companies hold a significant place among foreign investors in Georgia, while cooperation between the two countries covers various sectors of the economy.

According to Khidureli, the implementation of new projects demonstrates the continued high interest of Azerbaijani businesses in the Georgian market and the further expansion of bilateral investment cooperation.
