Azerbaijan, Georgia mull restoration of railway passenger service

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Rovshan Rustamov and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili held a meeting in Tbilisi, Report informs via the Georgian press.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the possibility of restoring passenger rail service between the two countries.
At the meeting, Rustamov and Kvrivishvili reiterated the importance of this issue.
Minister Kvrivishvili recently visited Azerbaijan. She was received by President Ilham Aliyev, and the minister also held a series of meetings with high-ranking officials of Azerbaijan.
