Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan expand cooperation in cadastre

A delegation of the State Service for Property Issues under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy held meetings at the Cadastral Agency of Uzbekistan, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani agency.

The meeting aimed to exchange experience in the fields of cadastre and real estate registration, and expand mutual cooperation.

The Azerbaijani delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Uzbek agency, information systems, especially the land use management system. Uzbek specialists made presentations on the digitalization work carried out in the field of real estate cadastre and the application of modern technologies.

The meeting provided information on software and information systems used in the field of state registration and cadastre of real estate in Azerbaijan.

During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the State Cadastre Chamber of the Cadastral Agency of Uzbekistan. Detailed information was provided on the processes of real estate registration, the provision of cadastral services, their legal and technical foundations, and the work system organized on the basis of modern technologies.

During the visit, an agreement was reached to further deepen bilateral cooperation and continue the exchange of experience on digital cadastre and real estate registration systems.
