AZAL: Last full technical inspection of crashed airplane was conducted in October

The Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 aircraft with registration number 4K-AZ65 which crashed near Aktau, was manufactured in 2013, AZAL said in response to Report's inquiry.
"Manufacturer's serial number: 19000630. The total number of aircraft landings is 9,949, with total flight time of 15,257.22 hours. The last full technical inspection of the aircraft was conducted on October 18, 2024. After the last inspection, the aircraft flew 671 hours," the company stated.
According to AZAL, the aircraft commander Igor Kshnyakin had a lot of experience with over 15,000 flight hours, of which approximately 11,200 hours were as captain.
