Aircraft operating flight Hong Kong – London makes emergency landing in Baku

The captain of a Cathay Pacific aircraft operating flight Hong Kong – London requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to a passenger’s deteriorating health condition, Report informs, citing the airport’s press service.

The Airbus A350 aircraft successfully landed at the airport at 07:08 pm local time (GMT+4).

The passenger was promptly provided with initial medical assistance, and after evaluation, was immediately transported to a medical facility.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport regularly conducts emergency response training to ensure the safety of passengers and crew members at the highest level, the airport’s statement noted.
