The city of Agdam, which was under occupation for almost 30 years, was completely destroyed by the Armenian invaders. The only structure that survived the occupation in the city is the Juma Mosque. The Armenians used the minaret of the mosque to control the surrounding territories and kept cattle in the mosque itself.
