ADY freight transport rises 20% in June, transit volumes surge

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) transported 1,636,336 tonnes of freight in June 2026, up 20% compared with the same month last year, the company said.
According to ADY, cited by Report, the transit freight exceeded 707,000 tonnes during the reporting period, marking a 38% year-on-year increase.
Transit shipments along the East-West Corridor rose 67% to 448,096 tonnes, while freight volumes on the North-South Corridor increased 48% to 47,240 tonnes.
