ADY mulls attracting cargo from China's two main dry ports to Middle Corridor

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) has familiarized itself with the operations and infrastructure capabilities of dry ports located in the cities of Xi'an and Chengdu in the People's Republic of China, Report informs, citing the ADY.

The familiarization took place within the framework of a business trip to China by a delegation led by Arif Aghayev, Deputy Chairman of the ADY.

During the visit, ADY representatives also got acquainted with modern logistics solutions implemented at the ports and held meetings with port management.

The meetings discussed attracting cargo to the Middle Corridor, expanding logistics capabilities, and prospects for mutual cooperation.

Xi'an and Chengdu are two main transport and economic centers located in western China. These cities play an important role in the development of trade and logistics connections between China and Europe through the Middle Corridor.
