Vegetable oil and margarine output down 3.3% in Azerbaijan

In January-April 2025, 14,025.4 tons of refined vegetable oils were produced in Azerbaijan, 3.3% less than in the same period of 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the specified period, 16,375.4 tons of margarine were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 3% more than a year ago.

As of May 1, the country had 3,342.2 tons of refined vegetable oils and 2,547.2 tons of margarine in stock. This is 36.5% and 37.8% less than in the previous year, respectively.

In the first four months of 2025, food products worth over $1.778 billion manats ($1.045 billion) were produced in Azerbaijan - 12.5% more compared to the previous year.
