Turkey’s exports of mining products in 2021 increased by 40% over the previous year, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez said, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
He said that in 2021 it was possible to set a historical record in the export of mining products - $5.93 billion.
The minister reminded that the export of products in this area in 2000 amounted to $565 million.
“Over the past 20 years, exports have grown more than 10 times. In 2020, exports amounted to $4.27 billion, in 2021, the growth was 40%,” he said.
The minister stressed that last year the main importers of Turkey were China, the US, Spain, Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, India, Sweden, Germany, France. This year Turkey managed to enter the markets of Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Albania and Serbia.
