Gypsum and anhydrite production in Azerbaijan up by 58%

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 116,100 tons of gypsum and anhydrite, 58% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

As of April 1, the country had 52,700 tons of finished product in stock.

Azerbaijan produced 570,500 tons of gypsum and anhydrite in 2024, which makes a 4.8% decline from 2023.
