Economy minister: About $440 million invested in Azerbaijan's industrial zones

Between 2021 and 2024, entrepreneurs invested approximately 748 million manats ($440 million) in the industrial zones managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.

That led to the creation of 865 permanent jobs.

Over this period, total product sales reached 11.68 billion manats ($6.87 billion), with exports amounting to 4.08 billion manats ($2.4 billion).

"Industrial zones play a pivotal role in diversifying Azerbaijan’s economy by attracting investments, generating employment, enhancing local production and exports, and fostering innovation," Jabbarov stated.
