Details of Hajigabul project of manufacturing passenger cars revealed

The details of the "Manufacturing of passenger cars" project that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan want to implement in the Hajigabul Industrial District under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy have been announced.

Report informs that the project will be implemented by Azermash CP headed by Otabek Saliev, a citizen of Uzbekistan.

The production line, with an investment of 88 million manats, should be put into operation in May 2025. Here, 30,000 passenger cars will be produced annually based on the technologies of the US, Italy, China, South Korea, and Uzbekistan. Some 1,200 people will be employed in the plant, which will have an area of 16 hectares and a production area of 31,000 square meters.
