Azerbaijan's flour-based confectionery reserves almost triple

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan produced 11,453.8 tons of flour-based confectionery products, marking a 4.7% decline compared to the same period in 2024.
According to Report, which cites the State Statistics Committee, as of March 1, the country's stockpile of finished confectionery products reached 936.2 tons—an increase of 2.9 times year-on-year.
Despite the drop in confectionery production, Azerbaijan's overall food production for the first two months of the year totaled 933.9 million manats, reflecting a 10.7% annual increase.
