Azerbaijan’s car production boosts

From January through July 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 295 million manats ($173 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The State Statistical Committee told Report that compared to a year earlier, the machinery and equipment production surged 39%, other transport facilities tripled, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers went up by 2.6 times.

For the January-to-July period of 2022, 1,210 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 270 cars or 28.7% more from the same period last year. As of August 1, 2022, the country has stocked 301 finished products.

During the first seven months of this year, Azerbaijan produced 303 tractors, 25.6% less than in January-July 2021. As a result, the country had 29 finished products as of April 1.
