Azerbaijan increases car production 

From January through March 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 124 million manats, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged 23%, other transport facilities went up 6.6-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 2.3 times%.

For the January-to-March period of 2022, 439 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 31 cars or 7.6% more from the same period last year. As of April 1, 2022, the country has stocked 538 finished products.

During the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan produced 125 tractors, 38.9% more than in January-March 2021. As a result, the country had 37 finished products as of April 1.
