Azerbaijan increased salt production by 5% in March

In the first quarter of 2025, 20,184.2 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.

This amount is 4.4% more compared to the same period last year.

In March alone, 7,100 tons of salt were produced in the country, which is 5.1% more year-on-year.

As of April 1, 2025, Azerbaijan had 90.4 tons of finished product reserves.

In 2024, 89,456 tons of salt were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 22.1% more compared to 2023.
