Winners of Baku Marathon 2022 announced

The Baku Marathon 2022, held for the fifth time at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, has ended, Report informs.

The marathon winner among men was the Russian Rinas Akhmadiev, 1989. He ran the distance in 1 hour 03 minutes 11 seconds.

The winner among the female participants was Valentina Veretska, 1990, from Ukraine. She ran the distance in 1 hour 16 minutes 59 seconds.

Mehman Ramazanzade, 51, became the marathon winner among people with disabilities, reaching the finishing line in 57 minutes.

About 15,000 participants had registered to participate in the Baku Marathon 2022.
