Tokyo-2020: Azerbaijan wins 8th gold medal

Azerbaijan’s Elvin Astanov won a gold medal at the men’s shot put F-53 at the Tokyo-2020 Summer Paralympic Games.
The 42-year-old athlete, who threw 8.77 meters, also broke the Paralympics record by five centimeters.
Earlier, Azerbaijan won 7 gold and 2 bronze medals.
