Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games schedule announced

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) today confirmed the event line-up for each session of the competition, following their postponement to 2021 due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Report informs, citing the official website of the organizing committee, Tokyo 2020 has specified the start and end dates of some contests.

The tournament will start on August 24 as planned. The athletes will vie for 539 sets of medals in 22 sports during the Games, which will last until September 5.

The decision to delay the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics was made in March.
