Sanctions imposed on another Azerbaijani athlete for using doping

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ Yekaterina Sariyeva has been punished for the use of doping.
Report informs citing the official website of the Azerbaijani National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA), the presence of banned substance or its metabolites detected. Furosemide has been found in her body.
A member of the Azerbaijani national light athletics team has been subjected to 12 month disqualification.
Notably, Yekaterina Sariyeva has won three gold medals at the III Islamic Solidarity Games and a bronze medal at the IV Islamic Solidarity Games.
Earlier, five Azerbaijani athletes were punished by AMADA for failing doping test.
