Roland Hofer: Teams in Baku-Khankendi cycling race cover 4 continents

Teams in the Baku-Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race cover four continents, Roland Hofer, Technical Director of the Baku-Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race, said at a press conference, Report informs.

He assessed the final preparations for the race: "I am very happy that we are back again and will hold a race in the 2.1 category. 24 teams from 20 countries will compete. The teams cover 4 continents. We will watch the competition of both endurance cyclists and fast cyclists. Sprint races will be held. Information about the stages of the race was provided by Sahib Alakbarov. We are fully ready for the start. There will be a team presentation before the start."

The Baku–Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race will start on May 10, with 24 teams from 20 countries participating. The race will last five days, aiming to contribute to the development of cycling in Azerbaijan, enhance the country's reputation in international sports arenas, and promote the region's sports tourism potential.
