Norwegian athlete wins a record 14th Winter Olympics medal

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ Marit Bjoergen made Olympic history in South Korea's Winter Games.

Report informs, Bjoergen won her 14th medal (7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals) at the Winter Games by taking bronze with her Norwegian teammates on Wednesday in the team sprint. That made her the most decorated Winter Olympian of all time, breaking the tie she held with Norwegian biathlete Ole Einar Bjoerndalen.

Notably, Marit Bjoergen became third with Maiken Falla. US athletes Kikkan Randall and Jessica Diggins won gold medals, Swiss Charlotte Kalla and Stina Nilsson won silver medals.
