The Japanese government, the leadership of the capital Tokyo, and the organizers of the Summer Olympics and Paralympics are planning to discuss measures to prevent the coronavirus's spread in the competitions, Report says.
According to the Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshihide Suga, many aspects should be considered to ensure anti-coronavirus measures at the Games. The arrival of athletes and fans, conducting tests, the medical system's state, and the working hours of sports facilities include such steps. "Considering all these aspects, we are planning to hold relevant meetings in September."
The delayed Tokyo Olympics will be held next year between July 23 and August 8.
